The SAA-1 Area Alarm is equipped with an ultra sensitive Geiger Tube detector housed in a lightweight aluminum shell for detecting Gamma Ray levels as low as 0.25mR/h (2.5uSv/h). (Gamma, Beta and Alpha detector available as a special order)

Dose rate trip levels can be set anywhere from 0.5mR/h to 100mR/h.(5uSv/h to 1mSv/h)

Unit can be operated off 110Vac or 12Vdc with an appropriate adapter.

The alarm comes standard with both a visual and audible indicator.
