Arrow-Tech Direct Reading Dosimeters

The Direct-Reading Dosimeter is a pocket-size, carbon-fiber electroscope with an ion chamber for detecting and indication of integrated exposure to Gamma and X-Ray radiation. It has a thin wall which permits the penetration and detection of radiation.

Dosimeters are extremely sensitive instruments. Although they are constructed for rugged use, they should receive the same care as a wristwatch. Since dosimeters are hermetically sealed at the factory, they cannot be repaired or adjusted in the field. Therefore, if instrument malfunctioning is experienced, the instrument should be returned to the factory or your dealer. Dosimeters may be maintained in operating condition simply by cleaning the eyepiece lens and the charging switch insulator with clean water and a cloth that is free of lint and grit. Make sure the charging switch insulator is absolutely free of lint and moisture at all times.

Specifications:
Radiation Detected: Gamma and X-Ray from 16 keV to 6 MeV
Range: 0–2 mR to 0–600R (common models are 0-500mR and 0-200mR)
Detector: Fiber electrometer mounted in an electrically conductive plastic ion chamber
Electrical Leakage: Less than 1% of full scale for 24 hours at 50° C
Accuracy: Within +/- 10% of true exposure
Operating Conditions: -20°C to +52°C

Canadian Admiral dosimeter charger - robust, portable and simple to use.  Allows the user to quickly reset the current reading of any pen dosimeter.  Uses single D cell battery.

MGP Model DMC 2000S

The DMC 2000S Electronic Dosimeter features flat energy response to X-rays and gamma fields from 60 keV to 6 MeV and linear response to dose rate fields of 1 mR/hr to 1000 R/hr. The unit’s top mounted LCD clearly displays either the accumulated dose (configurable to integers or tenths of milliRem) or current dose rate. Can be a part of a centralised dosimetry system, or a stand alone solution.

Specifications:
Detected Radiation: X and gamma energy range: 50 keV to 6 MeV
Rate: 0.01 mR/hr to 1000 R/hr
Dose: 0.1 mR to 1000 R
Alarm Levels: Adjustable for dose rate and accumulated dose
Accuracy: +/- 5% (Cs-137, 20mR/hr)
Batteries: Standard calculator battery LiMnO2 CR2450, one year battery life (typical, 8h per day in run mode)
Operating Conditions: -10°C to +50°C Storage Conditions: -30°C to +71°C

MGP Model SOR/R

The SOR is a multi-purpose digital dosimeter designed for Defence applications.  It provides full detection of all types of nuclear threat, from very low doses (technological and radiological risks) through to very high doses (tactical risks), and is manufactured to NATO D104 standards.  An important special feature of the SOR Line is its ability to meet the needs of various applications with one product.  Given its multi-detector architecture the measurement range cover is broad, and includes high level gamma and neutron dose rates as well as low level radiations (LLR).

Features:
- residual/ambient gamma measurements
- Assignable electronic dosimeters
- Waterproof, light and small
- Rugged for battlefield use
- Hand free communication, pass-by exchange
- Data communication through clothing layers

Basic Specifications:
- Detected Radiation: Gamma and X-ray radiation
- Range: 1 mR/hr to 10 R/hr
- Alarm Levels: Adjustable for dose rate and accumulated dose
- Accuracy: <± 10%
- Operating Conditions: -20°C to + 50°C (normal operating range,standard battery 3V LiMnO2 CR2450) or -40°C to + 50°C (option with battery module 3.6V LiSoCl2)

Rados RAD-60 Personal Alarm Digital Dosimeter

The RADOS RAD-60 Personal Alarm Dosimeter is a precise and reliable instrument for ensuring the personal safety of the user. Ideally, the RAD-60 is used in everyday radiation monitoring, in stand-alone conditions. If your needs grow for a more sophisticated system, the versatile RAD-60 can also be integrated into an Access Control System. The RAD-60 can be switched into System Mode, for the purpose of tracking Personnel Dose records and generating compliance reports.

Basic Specifications:
- Assignable electronic dosimeters
- Detected Radiation: Gamma and X-ray radiation
- Measurement Range: Dose 0.1 mrem - 999 rem, Dose Rate 0.5 mrem/hr - 300 rem/hr
- Alarm Levels: Adjustable for dose rate and accumulated dose
- Accuracy: ± 5% (Cs-137, 662 keV at 2 mSv/h),
- Operating Conditions: -20°C to + 50°C
