Mishandling or accidents may cause
radiographic sealed sources or exposure
devices containing nuclear substances to
leak and may lead to a significant cross
contamination of equipment, attached
accessories or, in the worst-case
scenario, irradiation of personnel. To ensure that
a sealed source is not leaking, the C.N.S.C.
mandates leak testing of sealed sources
and devices containing nuclear substances
at regular intervals. At Spencer Manufacturing (1983) Ltd., we provide leak-testing services for the following isotopes:
